At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 11 the O-Train, heading North to Bayview Station, derailed while entering Carleton because some wheel sets were not fully aligned, according to Troy Charter, OC Transpo’s manager of transit operations.

Charter said via email that there were customers on the train, and there is one reported injury.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and took the person away in an ambulance.

Bus route 107 is operating temporarily and there is no word on when the O-Train will be operational again.

Campus safety is assisting OC Transpo, according to Allan Burns, director of university safety.
