The Carleton University Students’ Association is holding online elections for its executives and councillors on Feb. 3 and 4. Students will elect six executives and 26 councillors, including two councillors for the Sprott School of Business.

The Charlatan asked each candidate running for Sprott councillor for a 150-word written profile. Profiles have been edited for clarity.

My name is Musab Chaudhry and I am currently a second-year student in Sprott commerce with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics. I am seeking re-election as Sprott councillor for 2021-2022.

Over the past year, I have been working as a CUSA councillor for the faculty and I have worked toward taking action on issues raised by business students such as yourself.

If re-elected, I aim to work on issues regarding the co-op experience of business students, resources available to these students and lack thereof, and any other concerns that students in the faculty may have!

I hope that through your confidence in me, I can continue to bring more Sprott ideas into CUSA to better enhance the experience of students in the business faculty.

Candidate Diya Kulkarni declined to submit a profile.
