You’ll still be able to secure a sweet treat from the Nicol Building Bridgehead, but it’ll look a little different behind the scenes.
Carleton University is taking over the management of the second Bridgehead location on campus, it confirmed in a statement to the Charlatan.
The café will transition under Carleton’s dining services’ management come May 31. The store had been operated by the coffee shop chain.
The university said the change is only administrative and there are no planned renovations.
All services will continue as usual during the transition, the university said, adding that current staff will be offered jobs under the new management.
The Bridgehead initially opened in 2021 when the university cut the ribbon on its then latest building that’s now home to the Sprott School of Business.
The other location is at the MacOdrum Library, which also transitioned under Carleton’s management last summer and is now called “Bridgehead: Page Break.”
