My name is Abdullah Jaber and I’m running for president of your student association!
For those of you who don’t know me, I study biology, I play rugby, and I was born and raised in Ottawa. During my second semester at Carleton, I got involved with CUSA by going to service centres and meeting a lot of people of different backgrounds, religions, and orientations. After meeting and developing strong friendships with such diverse groups of people across campus, I came to learn and understand some of the needs and desires of students. Carleton has thus, without a doubt, had a profound effect on me. Students want to see change. They want to see an accountable and transparent student leadership that fights and believes in their interests. I will make student issues a priority, and ensure that I and all my team are available for you.
Help me be the face of change in student politics.
