Jillian Piper is a fourth-year journalism and communication and media studies student. Previously working as a news editor and a features editor at the Charlatan, Jillian is excited to use her experiences to lead the paper as editor-in-chief during its first official year as an online-only publication.
Born and raised in the small town of Little Britain, Ont., Jillian is passionate about providing platforms for underrepresented communities to share their stories. She plans to help young writers find their voices by promoting inclusivity, creativity and innovation at the paper.
When she isn’t working, Jillian can be found watching cheesy TV shows, collecting vintage furniture and geeking out over infographics.
