The Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) has released the unofficial results of its referendum to stop paying the Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) the unicentre fee. The fee was previously paid for graduate student usage of CUSA service centres among other services.

The referendum asked graduate students, “Do you support cancelling the $25 per term University Centre levy and increasing the GSA operating levy by $25 per term, pro-rated for part-time students and indexed to inflation? Yes/No”

The unofficial results are as follows, according to the GSA website:

Yes: 507 votes  95.67%
No: 23 votes 4.34%
Spoiled: 2
