There are numerous options available on campus, and in the city of Ottawa, for any help or support you may need during this time or throughout the school year.

Here are a few you might find useful:

Equity Services recently opened their Sexual Assault Support Services.

A full list of who to contact in the case of sexual assault is available on their website.

Carleton Health and Counselling Services also has a Crisis Centre which is available for those who need immediate attention.

Both centres are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and take clients on a walk-in basis for any cases besides those related to STI testing or treatment, birth control, and counselling.

In those cases remember to make an appointment.

A bit further away, but with an excellent reputation, is the Clarence Street Clinic in the Byward Market.

Recently renovated to accommodate the growing number of patients, the clinic offers a range of confidential and free services all on a walk-in basis.

The Clarence Street Clinic also offers free information for gay, lesbian, and bisexual health concerns, as well as information and support on safe sex, and what methods of contraception to choose, free condoms, cheap birth control,  pregnancy tests, and emergency morning after pills.
