The Prince of Brunei made a pit stop at Carleton Sept. 17 as part of his two-day Canadian tour.
Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah’s tour included a trip through the nearly-complete Canal Building and the athletic facility, where he spent time at the sports medicine clinic.
“We are very honoured and excited that the crown prince has come to visit,” said student representative Nural Ali. “When the prince asks us questions, it is quite the experience.”
Despite the tour's brief nature, fellow student representative Arif Salleh said the royal visit was “nice.”
“Even the chance to ask him a question is special, as he usually just shakes hands and moves on to the next person,” he said.
