Paloma has journeyed from Victoria, B.C., via Cusco, Peru, and is a second-year global and international studies and Indigenous studies student. Over her lifetime of practicing visual art, Paloma has become well-oriented in the mediums of watercolour, gouache, acrylic, pen & ink, collage, and pencil.
She believes that her studies only strengthen her art, because through personal growth and accumulation of wisdom, one is able to delve deeper into the experiences of self and of others. The role of graphics editor at the Charlatan opens the door for Paloma to explore and nurture her greatest passions: critical thinking, empathetic feeling, and creative expression.
