Laura Blanchette is one of the Charlatan‘s news editors and a third-year journalism and humanities student. She was born and raised in Edmonton, Alta.
Laura started writing for the Charlatan in her first year at Carleton, back when covering arts meant attending actual, in-person concerts. She is a nerd about municipal politics and can often be caught listening to podcasts (if you’re from Alberta, check out the Sprawlcast!) and playing Sims.
She is thrilled to be editing for the news section this year and would love to hear your story tips or bring you on as a volunteer!
