The Carleton Nigerian Students Association celebrated Canada Day with a barbecue at Mooney’s bay.In downtown Ottawa, families came down for Canada Day celebrations and festivities.With over 30,000 people in attendance on the Hill alone, much of the downtown core was closed to vehicular traffic.Ottawa police were present around Parliament Hill.Canada Day concluded officially with fireworks.

With the conclusion of the fireworks began the long trip home.
