Apple pie and summer tend to go hand in hand — but lets face it, we’re students and whether you are working long hours to pay for next semester’s tuition or are busy with classes this summer, most of us don’t have time to spend hours preparing and attempting to make apple pie. Lucky for you I have a super easy recipe for apple pie’s underrated cousin, apple crisp! My mom has been making this apple crisp with my sister and I since we were little kids, and it is just as delicious now as it was then. So treat yourself and your roommates for all your hard work with this simply scrumptious dessert at home, or be the talk of the night for your fantastic addition to a dinner party! You can also substitute vegan butter or margarine if you’re looking for a vegan friendly option.
