Hello Ravens!

My name is Faith Luckson, and I’m currently running for the post of VP (student life) in the CUSA election. I am a fourth-year student from the faculty of science doing an honours degree in food science and nutrition. I am the founder and president of the Southern Student Association. I am also involved in a lot of volunteering activities at Carleton for a few clubs and societies, including the Womyn’s Centre and the East African Students’ Association.

I strongly believe in partaking in positions that bring changes for people. That is why I am campaigning for a position that I want to use to better the lives of students at Carleton. I am an outgoing student with passion for interacting with students and getting to know what they want to see happen in our school in terms of events. My highest aim is to cater to all students and make them feel included, meaning every event I do has to attract people of different backgrounds. As someone from the African community at Carleton, I have also felt left out from the events at school, including the welcoming of new students. I would appreciate your help in getting me to a position where I can change that.
