Although the Ravens football team finished their comeback season with a record of 0-8 games won, they should be proud of their growth and have a lot to look forward to in the seasons to come.

The young team, consisting of mostly first-year players, showed signs of improvement in all aspects of the game throughout the season.

Their biggest loss was in their first game against the Western University Mustangs who have not lost a game all season and are first-ranked in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS).

In that game, 71 points were scored against the Ravens, the most points against them all season. They only scored four points in that game, which was one of their lowest point totals of the season.

In almost every game since, the Ravens have improved.

A large sign of that growth came in the Friday Night Lights game against the Guelph University Gryphons.

The Ravens led the then CIS fourth-ranked Gryphons early on in the game because of a field goal. This was their first and only lead of the season and although it did not last long, they proved they could score, and score quickly, against top teams.

Finally, the team has two quarterbacks who proved they could lead the team, both throwing touchdown passes this season.

The fan support for the Ravens never wavered or went misplaced.

Though the Ravens did not win this season, signs are pointing in the right direction for the upcoming seasons.
