With a dominating win, followed by a disappointing loss, the Carleton men’s lacrosse team now finds itself just holding on to the last playoff spot halfway through the season. 

The Ravens handled Queen’s University with ease on Sept. 26 in an 11-7 victory, but were unable to keep the adrenaline going, losing 12-6 the next day to Trent University.

In their first game, the Ravens looked strong, entering halftime with a 5-2 lead. 

The Carleton women’s ultimate team put in a good showing at Canadian Eastern University Ultimate Championships this weekend.

The team started off strong with a 15-0 win over McGill University.

Carleton took a key blow when captain Paula Saliba injured her shoulder in the second point of the game. Saliba played the rest of the tournament with a throwing handicap.

The team went 2-4 over the weekend, with close losses to University of Toronto 11-8 and to University of Western Ontario 12-9.
