Mistake or Reality: University of Waterloo gets a D+ on being “Green”

On Oct. 7, the University of Waterloo received a D+ on the College Sustainability Report Card of 2010, a survey sent to the top 332 universities and colleges in North America. UWO students concerned about violent campus arrest

Students at the University of Western Ontario in London have expressed their outrage after a video of a violent arrest by campus police on Oct. 14 was posted on YouTube.

The 90-second video shows Irnes Zeljkovic, 22, being held down by at least five campus and city police officers. While trying to handcuff the man, the officers repeatedly kneed, punched and struck the man with a baton more than 20 times.
