The University of Windsor (U of W) and the faculty association reached a tentative agreement Oct. 9.

Windsor University Faculty Association (WUFA) began strike action on Sept. 15,  which resulted in cancelled classes and left students, faculty, and the university in a stalemate.

Mediations took place during late September. By October the Windsor University Faculty Association (WUFA) and the university returned to the bargaining table.

Lori Lewis, a U of W media representative, said a ratification meeting, followed by a vote, will take place on Oct. 21.

According to a U of W release, “The tentative agreement comes following two days with provincially appointed mediators. The terms of the tentative agreement are confidential, pending ratification. All University classes and services continue as normal.”
