Stephen Conrad said he wants to bring freedom back to Carleton students. If elected CUSA’s representative for special students, he said he would give voice to various student groups that have been marginalized over the years.

“You should have your opinion heard,” Conrad said, regardless of what your opinion may be.

Furthermore, Conrad said he wants people to know what a special student is and what special students can bring to the student community.

Conrad has experience with student politics, including his current position as a Carleton Academic Student Government (CASG) councillor.

He also vocally opposed CUSA’s controversial decision to forgo Shinerama in 2008.
