In an age where social media has stopped being social, a group of Carleton students are hoping to change the norm with a new app called Third Space.

Cedric Osagie, a graduate business student at Carleton who came up with the idea, joined us in the studio to discuss the concept behind Third Space and what it means for students hoping to create deeper social interactions in their daily lives.

Osagie says the Third Space app allows students to connect in person and in real time. Tune in to find out what sets Third Space apart from other social media.

The Charlatan’s Douaa Qadadia reported on the app’s launch event at the Sprott School of Business Innovation Hub on Jan. 24. Read more about her reporting here

The Charlatan Live is recorded in Ottawa, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquin nation.
