Queen’s University will begin admitting students to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in the fall of 2013 after the suspension of the program for the 2013-2012 year due to resource shortages, according to a Queen’s press release.
Since Nov 2011, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Science, administration, faculty members and students have been working to reinstate the program as it was being re-assessed, said the press release.
“We have re-assessed the program and are now confident in our ability to continue to deliver a high quality curriculum that will maintain the program’s integrity, hence the decision to re-open admissions to the program for 2013-14,” said Gordon Smith, associate dean for the Faculty of Arts and Science.
