Monika Lemke’s platform in her run to become a Faculty of Public Affairs councilor on CUSA is all about accessibility.

The second-year law and politics student said she was frustrated by how difficult it was to become part of a club at Carleton, and that her main platform is to make clubs more accessible.

Lemke said she wants to ensure that students don’t become frustrated like she did, because they aren’t getting what she referred to as “the full student experience.”

“I am committed to spreading the arts,” she said. “I really care for student space, new clubs and making it all more accessible to students who generally wouldn’t be part of formal clubs.”
