Second-year political science student Delroy Dyer said he wants to “be the voice of students in the Faculty of Public Affairs,” leading him to run for a council seat.

Dyer said he’s not afraid to let council know when the students he represents are upset. He also stressed the importance of council discussing both sides of an issue.

As well as serving as the public relations officer of the Caribbean Students Association, Dyer said he already attends council meetings.

“I have attended more council sessions than certain councils,” Dyer said.
