Why is it that people today always take their frustration out on faultless individuals?

Waiting in line to get into the bookstore Sept. 14, an employee confided in me that several impatient students had yelled at him for the line being so long.

This kind employee had been watchfully manning the door since 8 a.m. that morning and on top of school work and extra-curricular activities did not need the added stress of being verbally assaulted.

Here’s a note to Carleton students.

A: If you are lazy enough to wait until the last minute to purchase your textbooks, your consequence will be a long line up.
Deal with it!

B: If you are stressed out about starting a new year, remember that each and every one of your fellow classmates is in the same boat as you.

So, release your stress in a healthy way.
