The Charlatan spoke to Eri Kiribuchi about her top moment this season in a new segment about student-athletes’ favourite plays.
Eri Kiribuchi, goalie, women’s hockey:
The Carleton’s [women’s] hockey team was playing McGill University.
McGill’s team [was] ranked number one in the country. We played the game to a tie, 2-2 I believe, but in the end we lost during a shoot-out.
But that game was very memorable, because I knew that I had one of my best games in my season.
I was trying to help the team and I think that time I helped my team the most out of all the games I played in this season.
I had lots of breakaway saves, but for me, every goal is important, so I can’t say one big save that I really liked, every single save I make has the same value for me.
