The Carleton University Students’ Association (CUSA) council is assembling for the 2025-2026 school year.

From Feb. 4 at 9 a.m. to Feb. 6 at 5 p.m., Carleton undergraduate students can vote for their faculty representatives using the ballot sent to their Carleton emails.

Representatives will work with the future CUSA president, who will be elected Feb. 6, on the council “where decisions about the association are made,” according to CUSA’s website

Major councillor responsibilities include passing the CUSA budget and electing the association’s vice-presidents.

Thirty-four candidates are in the running for the 31 open seats. Some candidates have submitted additional information and platforms on CUSA’s candidate profile page.

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (7 candidates, 8 seats):

  • Cass McIsaac, third-year developmental psychology 
  • Brooke Muzzatti, third-year globalization and the environment
  • Gerardo Maldonado-Jimenez, fourth-year history and theory of architecture
