The Juno Award-winning group has released four full-length studio albums, the most recent being 2015’s Astoria. Their hit singles include “Cross My Heart,” “Celebrity Status,” “Fallout,” and “One Love.” Lead singer Josh Ramsay was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2013 for cowriting Carly Rae Jepsen’s single “Call Me Maybe.”
The concert will also feature “special guests,” according to the poster released by the SEO.
This is the first time Marianas Trench has performed at Fall Orientation. Walk Off The Earth played the concert in 2013 and 2016, Chromeo in 2014, and Lights in 2015.
Students who are not participating in Fall Orientation can buy tickets to the show at the Carleton University Students’ Association and Rideau River Residence Association offices, or the SEO.
