Join the Charlatan’s Gianluca Nesci and other Charlatan reporters Wednesday, Jan. 18 as they live-blog the 2012 Capital Hoops Classic from Scotiabank Place. The Carleton Ravens women’s basketball team will kick off the double-header at 6 p.m. against the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees, before the men take to the court at 8 p.m.
The Charlatan has been publishing at Carleton for more than 70 years. The first issue was published on Nov. 28, 1945, under the name the Carleton. In the 1970s the name was changed to represent a more edgy newspaper the editors sought to shape.
