Lily Akagbosu, FASS

My name is Lily Akagbosu, and I’m a second-year international student from Nigeria.

I am an easygoing person who loves to make new connections and have a positive impact on people. I strive to utilize my creativity, passion, and energy to leave an impressive footprint in any community I serve.

My involvement in the Carleton community has made me very aware of many student concerns, and I would be honoured to play a role in shaping student life here in Carleton.

I have occupied several leadership positions through which I have gained valuable skills and experiences. I am currently the vice president of the Nigerian Students Association here in Carleton, and I am looking to serve in more communities.

In my spare time, I love to occupy myself with several activities. Among them, some of my favourite would include developing my random ideas, travelling, playing the piano, recreational swimming, learning new things through Google, and of course spending time with family and friends.
