Hi! My name is Jillian Piper and I’m a third-year journalism and communications student from Little Britain, Ont. Previously a news editor, I’m excited to explore topics in-depth through features this year.
By amplifying underrepresented voices, I hope to promote inclusivity, creativity, and innovation in the features section. I also aim to help young and inexperienced journalists find their voices in feature writing.
I enjoy watching Spanish soap operas (¡Escándalo!), collecting vintage household items, geeking out over infographics, and attempting Zumba. I can often be found experiencing technical difficulties (shoutout to my rural WiFi).
