Having a ruff week? Here are some photos to help lift up your spirit!
This past Sunday, hundreds of people lined up the sidewalk of Sussex Drive for the annual Wiener Dog Parade. The event is part of the Ottawa Sausagefest, and it’s all done to support the Canadian Dachshund Rescue.
The Parade Started in front of the Cricket & Company pet store on Murray Street and made its way down Sussex Drive. It turned left on George Street, left again past the Planet Coffee courtyard and then ended in front of the Ottawa sign on York Street.
One of the highlights of the day is the costume competition. This year’s winner: Sushi Dog!
Overall, this year’s parade was an adorable and fun time. You don’t want to miss it next year!
