Thousands of tourists and Ottawa locals strolled along Dow’s Lake to admire the Canadian Tulip Festival hosted between May 10 to 20.

Going into its 71st year, the Tulip Festival is an annual tradition first established in 1953 to honour and celebrate the international friendship between Canada and the Netherlands following the Second World War.

Locals and tourists of all ages clamoured around the colourful tulips for selfies and family photos.
