Fourth-year history student Guy Massie said he has been cynical about CUSA in the past. However, he’s decided to run for a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences council seat because he thinks that this year, there is a lot of potential for change.
“There are a lot of good candidates running with fresh, new ideas,” he said.
And Massie said he has a few fresh ideas of his own.
One would be to unite FASS councillors on the Carleton Academic Student Government, the university senate and CUSA to create representation for the faculty that is “more comprehensive and . . . easier to access.”
