Dustin Alcorn said he is making it his mission to ensure that the voices of all unheard students are heard. The second-year political science and human rights major is looking to be one of Carleton’s next Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences councillors.

“Carleton has given me so many opportunities to expand my horizons. . . .and I want to give back,” he said.

If elected, Alcorn said he promises to fight for the U-Pass for both full-time and part-time students. He said he is also committed to working with students and the administration on implementing a sexual assault centre on campus, something he said he believes is very important.
