Darnell Franco is a third-year aerospace engineering student running for the position of engineering and design councillor.

“This is my first time being involved in politics,” Franco said. “I’m pretty nervous. There’s a lot of pressure and responsibility.”

Franco said he’s had experience as a Red Zone captain, a Frosh Week facilitator and a CUSA-RRRA street-team co-ordinator.

He said being involved “gives you a whole new outlook on school life here at Carleton.”

If elected, Franco said he wants to get more information out about the engineering faculty.

“I could bring more co-operation and communication between the CUSA and Carleton Student Engineering Society, “ Franco said.
