Daniel Kamau is a second-year civil engineering student who said he sees his candidacy in the CUSA election as a good opportunity for him to represent his “fellow engineers.” As a member of the East African Student Association, Kamau said he noticed the lack of funding for clubs and decided he wanted to do something about it.
Kamau said he hopes to increase club funding and increase representation for engineering students. He said he also plans to push for a plan to create a probation period for students on the verge of losing their scholarships, to give them a chance to maintain it.
