1. Why are you running for CUSA council?

As someone committed to advocacy and inclusion, I am running for councillor in order to open up additional opportunities for students to participate meaningfully within our association. Furthermore, my candidacy symbolizes a call to action.

2. What do you think makes you a good candidate?

My experience as an advocate for active youth engagement having represented youth from around the world at forums such as the World Economic Forum. Also, my ideas for a more inclusive model of leadership and operational matters.

3. What are two things you hope to achieve if elected?

One, the establishment of a peer review committee that is comprised of students whose primary objective is to evaluate and monitor the performance of the executive by means of an online scorecard. Secondly, promote the active engagement of my constituents through bi-weekly newsletters to ensure transparency and accountability.

4. What’s one fun fact about yourself?

I am a fledgling fashion designer.
