1) Do crunches between commercial breaks — preferably during a prime time Amazing Race-style show for inspiration. Trailer Park Boys is strongly discouraged for motivational purposes.

2) Have a dance party to a pulse-pumping jam. Suggested music includes Sir Mix-a- Lot and the Beach Boys to get the hips shaking to full potential. Get the whole crew involved! Have roommates join in the fun for a unique bonding experience. 
 
3) Flick someone bigger than you and run away. The intense pressure of being chased by a predator gets the adrenaline going. 
 
4) Park on the top level of Carleton’s parking garage and you’re forced to walk up at the end of the day to retrieve your vehicle. No car? If you’re really inspired, force yourself to sprint up and down Dunton Tower for your classes. 
 
5) Foreplay in your relationships can add a lot to your regularly scheduled workout routine. Ironically, food like strawberries and whipped cream can come in handy for this lazy workout (but don’t worry, the foreplay itself could cancel these calories).
 
6) Nom nom nom! Scratch Barbecue Chips off your grocery list and opt for calorie-friendly veggies like celery, as the calories lost from chewing are more than the calories gained.
 
7) Go power-shopping with a friend. Suggested purchases include stylin’ workout clothes for your lazy workout routines. 
 
8) Laugh out loud — it’ll keep you healthy and happy.
