Well, folks, we did it.
We’re proud to announce the Charlatan has taken the top spot among Ottawa campus news media outlets with a Facebook page. We’ve surpassed our longtime rival, the Fulcrum, who had their page taken down in late October.
We want to thank Facebook for helping us become the best version of ourselves. Without the platform’s inexplicable content algorithm, unclear page removal systems and poor communication, we wouldn’t be able to accept this prestigious rank.
To our Fulcrum rivals, there’s always next month. But we want you back—it’s lonely at the top. Until then, we’ll graciously accept this ranking.
