The Carleton Ravens women’s soccer team rounded off a successful weekend tour with a 4-0 drubbing of the Trent University Excaliburs Sept. 26 in Peterborough, Ont.

The Carleton Ravens women’s field hockey team was humbled by the University of Toronto Varsity Blues on a cold and wet morning Sept. 26, losing 10-0 in front of their home fans at Keith Harris Stadium.
The loss drops the Ravens record to 0-4 this season.

The Carleton Ravens varsity rowing team was defeated by the Ottawa Gee-Gees Sept. 18 in the annual P.D. Ross Memorial Regatta — an unofficial, friendly regatta that takes place between the age-old rivals.

Ravens rugby team hope to gain varsity status
After dominating the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union (EORU) for years, Carleton’s women’s rugby team has dropped out of the league in order to kick-start a long awaited move to varsity.
Beginning this season, instead of playing other amateur club teams from around Ottawa, the women’s team is aiming to play against university-level competition, although for the time being only in exhibition format. Officially, they are operating as a “club running as a varsity team” and will continue to do so until other opportunities arise.
