Laval football dominates at Vanier Cup

The Laval Rouge et Or dominated at this year’s Vanier Cup — on home turf no less -— winning the Canadian Interuniversity Sport title for the second year in a row and completing a perfect 13-0 season. Laval took the title in a crushing 29-2 victory over the Calgary Dinos.

The Carleton Ravens men’s hockey team may have left it late, but they were able to snap their two-game losing streak after defeating the UOIT Ridgebacks 5-3 in Oshawa Nov. 19.

Varsity hopes alive for lacrosse team

The Carleton Ravens men’s lacrosse team saw their quest for a first ever Baggataway Cup fall just short earlier this month, with a 9-8 loss to the Brock Badgers in the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) semifinals.

Disallowed goal extends Ravens slump

It was a bitter pill to swallow for the Carleton Ravens women’s hockey team Nov. 21, as they suffered a tough 3-2 shootout loss to the Université de Montréal Carabins at the Ice House.  

The Ravens were playing their first game in two weeks and had their work cut out for them against the Carabins team which was eyeing top spot in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) standings.
