Carleton swimmers finish 12th again

After finishing in a disappointing 12th spot in last year’s Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Swimming Championships, Carleton was hoping that veteran Kaitlin Swales for the women and rookie Andrew Vo for the men could help better their performances this time around.

The Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team continued their winning ways Feb. 4–5, recording back-to-back road victories over Laurentian and York University, respectively.

Ravens women win two on the road

The Carleton Ravens women’s basketball team recorded their 12th and 13th straight victories Feb. 4 and 5, defeating the Laurentian University Lady Vees and the York University Lions on the road.

Women’s hockey falls to McGill and Concordia

The comeback efforts of the Carleton Ravens women’s hockey team fell short Feb. 5-6, when they lost 2-1 to McGill University and 3-2 to Concordia University on the road.

Lomas, Smith honoured at final game of season

Graduating guards Bailey Lomas and Courtney Smith were honoured at the Carleton Ravens women’s basketball team’s final home game of the season against the Queen’s University Golden Gaels Jan. 29.

At halftime, Ravens head coach Taffe Charles made a special presentation, speaking about Lomas’ and Smith’s recruitment and their presence on the team.

At the end of the presentation, both players were awarded a framed jersey as a token of their time spent with the Ravens.
