The Carleton Ravens women’s basketball team advanced to the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Final after back-to-back wins against the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and the University of Toronto Varsity Blues last weekend in Toronto.

As the old saying goes, the third time is the charm. For the Carleton Ravens men’s hockey team, they were hoping the third time in the second round would finally get them through to the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) East final.
Unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be, as they fell 4-0 to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) Patriotes in Trois-Rivières Feb. 27.
Mens basketball booked for OUA Final Four
The Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team booked their place in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Final Four in Hamilton next weekend with a resounding quarterfinal victory over the Ryerson University Rams Feb. 26 at the Ravens’ Nest.
Ravens can’t beat Labonte
The Carleton Ravens women’s hockey team saw their playoff dreams slide to a halt Feb. 25, when they were shut out by the McGill Martlets for the second straight game in their first-round playoff series.
The Martlets swept the series with 1-0 and 4-0 wins in games one and two respectively, eliminating the Ravens from the playoffs in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ).
Despite the loss, Ravens head coach Shelley Coolidge said she was extremely proud of her team’s efforts during the game.
