Ravens look forward to 2011

Battling injuries and increasing expectations, the Carleton Ravens women’s basketball team have had a season to remember. For the first time in the team’s history, the Ravens earned a berth in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) championships.

They also finished conference champions after inflicting memorable defeats in the playoffs over University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto.

Top basketball recruit considering Carleton

Hot off the heels of another W.P. McGee trophy, the Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team is already looking to bolster its lineup.

Having secured the services of power forward Justin Shaver for the upcoming Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) season, head coach Dave Smart is now attempting to recruit Jean Pierre-Charles from Ashbury Collegiate, Pierre-Charles confirmed.
