Brenning says 2010-2011 a success for the Ravens

Not Hyde-ing from life
Matt Hyde is many things: a varsity athlete, a commerce student and a business owner.
Hyde, along with his wife, owns and operates Slaysh — a skateboard and snowboard shop in the Glebe.
Now a member of the Ravens men’s hockey team, Hyde started his career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
He first laced up with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in 2000. After a gritty first year, in which he registered 157 penalty minutes in 67 games, Hyde made an appearance at tryouts for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL.
Tweeting like a Raven
The raven is a bird known for its speed, strength and authoritative call. It’s a call that registers much louder than the feeble tweets of other birds. And when it comes to social media, the Ravens can tweet with the best of them.
Twitter is one of the newest trends that is sweeping the online world 140 characters at a time, and athletes are never ones to get left behind. Thousands of professional athletes tweet to their millions of followers.
