Carleton Club You May Not Have Heard Of: Dungeons and Dragons on Campus

Look out, Carleton: slaying dragons is the new social event on campus.

Dungeons and Dragons on Campus (DDoC), a club based on the role-playing game where characters are created for theme-based worlds, has five times more players registered this year than last, according to club president Alex Godding.

When Godding founded DDoC last year there were only two games taking place weekly.  Now with over 50 official members DDoC facilitates nine different games a week.

Fulbright chooses CU talent

Starting this month Carleton scholars Christine Rivas and Sara Bannerman will be studying at American universities as part of the prestigious Fulbright Program. 

The Fulbright Program is an educational exchange program operated out of the United States that provides an opportunity for scholars and students to travel to universities abroad.

The government-sponsored Canadian sector of the program is designed to allow for education in both countries to be enhanced by a mutual understanding between Canadians and Americans.
