If there is one video game that can single-handedly lower your grades and cause you to lose sleep and perhaps even a couple of friends, it’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Skyrim is the sequel to Bethesda Softworks’ 2006 hit The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Dating back to the 1990s, the series has long been a flagship of Western role-playing games due to their unconventional gameplay and ambitious design.

Life-sized plastic wrap spider webs enveloped booths while recycled industrial fencing was repurposed into ceiling hangings. These were a few smaller scale examples of the installations that will be showcased for Milieux at Aberdeen Pavilion Dec. 1, said event organizer Kat Forget.
The role of women in art galleries today
There are many women running art galleries and museums today because of the role women played volunteering in art institutions during the 21st century, said Andrea Terry, a Canadian studies postdoctoral fellow at Carleton.
The Friends of Art History Visual Culture Series hosted Terry’s lecture, “Curatorial Politics: Examining the Role of Women and Gender in Museums” in St. Patrick’s Building Nov. 18.
Turning cinema “Inside Out”
The Inside Out LGBT Film and Video Festival, which ran Nov. 17-20 at the National Gallery of Canada, explored more than just issues related to the history of the gay community, said David Hoe, a member of the Ottawa Senior Pride Network.
