Technology has undoubtedly become an indispensable part of people’s lives, but computer artist Eric Chan takes it one step further with everything he does.

For band members of Anamanaguchi, playing video games wasn’t enough. So they hacked, remixed and recreated their own musical video game world, said frontman Peter Berkman.

The Daft Punk Tribute Band had the crowd screaming “one more time” at Ritual Nightclub Jan. 21, thanks in part to Carleton grad Rob Reid.

Instead of making these motivations immediately known to the viewer, McQueen uses a fluid and unstructured style of narrative to make them apparent. The monotony of Brandon’s work life, his troubled relationship with his sister (aptly named Sissy) and his inability to maintain meaningful relationships are layered in vivid images with minimal dialogue. Unsurprisingly, gratuitous sex and nudity abound.

While Meryl Streep's performance as Margaret Thatcher is savoury, almost every other aspect of the biopic about Great Britain's first female prime minister is dry.
