Kimberly Matheson will end her almost five-year term as Carleton’s vice-president (research and international) on June 30.
The university is forming a Senate search committee to find Matheson’s replacement, according to an email sent out May 27.
Matheson joined the ranks of Carleton’s vice-presidents in November 2009, after serving as acting vice-president (research and international) for two years.
She has been at Carleton since 1990, and has presided over the psychology department, served on Senate, and has been a member of the university task force on planning and priorities in her 24 years at the school.
The Senate is now seeking nominations for students to serve on the search committee.
