Carleton student found dead in residence

188

A Carleton student living in residence died Feb. 11, according to university communications.

“No foul play is suspected and Ottawa police are investigating,” said Beth Gorham, Carleton’s manager of public affairs.

Campus safety was notified of the death shortly before 5 p.m., Gorham said. Police responded to a medical call in Prescott House and found a deceased person inside, said David Lockhart, an Ottawa police duty staff sergeant.

“No further details are available at this time,” Gorham said.
