Keeping their eyes on the prize, Carleton students continue to bring their highest level of sartorial perfection on campus. This week we observe students that lean towards neutrals when choosing their wardrobes for the fall/winter season, but aren’t afraid to spice it up with pops of color. What will you be wearing this fall?

Mateusz, fourth-year architecture student

What are you wearing today?
My shoes are Toms from London, my white pants are Massimo Dutti from Poland, then my jacket is from The Kooples from Paris, and my button-up shirt is from Playlife in Switzerland. Finally, my bag is from Zara.

What are your favorite colours to wear during fall?

Similar to what I’m wearing now, spicy cinnamon browns paired with blues or beiges. I wear a lot of neutrals like blacks and greys with an added color that pops.

If you could have one celebrity’s wardrobe, who’s would it be?

That’s a tough question! James Dean. Although I’m a little different in some circumstances, but collectively I like his kind of style.

Victoria, second-year political science student.

What are you wearing today?

The dress is from Forever 21, my cardigan is thrifted from Value Village, the bag is from Portugal, the hat from a thrift store, and the flats from Walmart!

If you could have one celebrity’s wardrobe, who’s would it be?

Emma Watson, for sure. All the time. It’s ridiculous.

What colours do you avoid completely?

Pinks and yellows, they match weirdly with my skin tone. I go for darks and neutrals.

Check back next week for more campus style.
